Conversation intelligence for the counter · not a CRM, not a phone system

A secret shopper

on every conversation

You record every phone call. The conversation that actually closes the ticket happens face to face, and nobody hears it. Your advisor's phone records the shift, AI reviews each conversation against your checklist, and the recap is in your inbox by morning.

No hardware, no setup fee

Built for independent auto repair first. Also med spas, dental, furniture and any floor where a big ticket is decided in person.

The blind spot

Every call is recorded. The counter is not.

40–60%

of recommended repairs get declined

And nobody hears why. Was the price explained before the work? Did the advisor say what happens if it waits? You only see the final RO.

findings never reach the customer in full

The tech found it. The advisor summarized it in one sentence. The customer said "just the oil change today." That's the whole gap between your shop and the shop across the street.

Mystery shoppers are a lottery

One staged visit a quarter is under one percent of your conversations, and the advisor usually spots it. When you're at the counter, everyone sells. You're not at the counter all day.

How it works

Nothing changes in your advisor's day

1

Record

One tap in the app at the start of the shift. Phone in the pocket or a clip-on mic. A notice at the counter tells customers the conversation is recorded; the advisor can pause any time.

2

Review

AI transcribes the shift, separates speakers within the session, and scores every customer conversation against your checklist. Not a generic script. Yours.

3

Morning

You get an email recap: score by location and by advisor, missed sales with quotes and timestamps, red flags. Each advisor gets their own recap and a personal goal for the month.

Setup is one day. No installation, no equipment on the books, no integration required to start. Fill in the checklist, install the app, hand out the counter sign.

Your numbers

What one more approved line is worth

Move the sliders, including the lift you expect. The formula is on screen. The numbers are yours.

+5 pts approval × 10 tickets × 22 days × $600 = $6,600 per advisor per month
Total × 3 advisors
+$19,800 / month
against $267 for the software

This is not a promise. It's what you will be able to see and count on your own recordings in the first week. Published case studies in auto and home services report +18–29% close rates with conversation coaching; we'd rather you measure it yourself.

Your business?

If an employee talks to a customer face to face and the ticket depends on that conversation, this works. A checklist for a new industry takes a week.

Ask us
Your standard, not ours

The checklist is yours. Change it in a minute.

Service counter

  • Every finding explained with the reason
  • Price stated before the work starts
  • Next maintenance visit booked

Consult room

  • Goal and concern confirmed in the patient's words
  • Full plan presented, not just today's item
  • Financing or package offered

Sales floor

  • Budget and payment method asked
  • Price given with the monthly payment
  • Hold or delivery date proposed

No written standard yet? Record for two weeks. The system learns from your best people's conversations and builds the checklist from what they actually say. The metric is honest: not "push harder," but "don't miss what the customer asked for."

Two roles, two recaps

A coach for the advisor. The whole shop in ten minutes for the owner.

Moment of the day: "The front pads are at 2 mm. I'd rather you do them today than have them on the rotors in three weeks."
Try tomorrow: two customers asked "how long can it wait" and got "it depends." Monthly goal: +$1,900 in approved lines, 58% there.

The advisor sees their own recap, their goal, their best moments. No public leaderboard. Any score can be disputed with one tap; the recording settles it.

Pricing

One plan. Everything included.

$89 per seat per month

A seat is one recording employee. Owners, managers and the dashboard are free. That's $3 a day per advisor; one mystery shop costs $75–150.

  • Whole-shift recording, no hour limits
  • Your checklist, edited in the dashboard
  • Morning email recap for the owner, evening recap for the advisor
  • Advisor app (iOS and Android) and owner dashboard
  • Month to month, from 2 seats, cancel any time, no setup fee

30-day pilot

One location, 2 to 10 seats, your checklist. First recap the morning after the first shift. After 30 days you have your own numbers on your own recordings, not a case study.

What we need from you: one day to set up, the counter notice on the wall, and one person who reads the morning email.

Start a pilot
Privacy and consent

Not surveillance. A game-tape review, like every sports team does.

Customers are told

A counter sign and a one-line notice at the start of the conversation. We ship a notice kit for every state, including the all-party-consent states. Customer objects, advisor taps pause.

No voiceprints. Ever.

Speakers are separated within a single session only. We do not enroll voices, build voice profiles, or match a voice across days. Nothing biometric is stored.

Audio is deleted

Recordings are kept 30 days by default so a disputed score can be checked, then deleted. Transcripts and scores stay. You can shorten the window.

Personal talk stays out

Break-room chat, a call home, a conversation with a coworker: the system drops everything that is not a customer conversation. The owner never sees it.

Med spa and dental

No patient audio is recorded until a Business Associate Agreement is signed with your practice. Ask for the HIPAA plan when you apply.

Where we operate

Hosted in the United States. Not currently offered in Illinois. Sensitive numbers spoken out loud (cards, SSNs) are redacted from transcripts.

Questions

Will my advisors hate it?+
For about two days. Then they see that the recap is theirs alone, that approved lines and their commission go up, and that any score can be disputed. The recording settles disputes with the owner too, which advisors like more than you'd expect.
Is recording customers legal?+
With notice, yes. In one-party states an employee may record their own conversations; in all-party states the customer must be told, which the counter sign and the opening line do. We provide the kit; you should still run it past your own counsel. We do not operate in Illinois.
What hardware do I need?+
The advisor's own phone, iOS or Android. A $20–40 clip-on mic helps in a loud bay. For a fixed counter or consult room there is a scheduled recorder that runs on a laptop.
Does it work with my shop management system?+
You don't need an integration to start; the recap arrives on its own. After the pilot, we connect the systems where it makes sense, so a conversation sits next to its RO or patient chart.
Spanish, Russian, mixed languages at the counter?+
English is the default. Spanish and Russian, including switching mid-conversation, are supported on request; tell us in the application and we'll confirm on your first recordings.
How much of my time does it take?+
Ten minutes in the morning. The recap is ranked: missed sales and red flags first, then the location summary, then each advisor. The full transcript is one click away, never in your face.
